Surfing Turtle is the original. Tucked into Turtle Cove, the small community at the heart of Surf City, this end-unit townhouse has the rare combination of private beach access across the street and a private dock on the sound out back. The community pool is for guests only, key fob required. Two bedrooms, each with its own bath, and a layout that opens straight to the deck. The pullout couch handles the extras. The upstairs bedroom is the bigger of the two, with ocean views from the top deck. Mornings are for coffee on the dock looking east. Evenings are for the same dock, looking west, watching the sun fall behind the marsh. The pier, the restaurants, the shops are a mile away. The rest of the island, when you want it.
